"When Maharishi Came to Town" is the sixth chapter in the Fairfield History Series and continues where "Parsons" left off. This film tells the story of how Maharishi International University came from California to Fairfield. Even though some residents saw it as a novel stopgap measure, today over 50 years after being brought to Fairfield, Maharishi International University, the "TM University”, is an integral part of this traditional Iowa town.
